This piece is a bit more abstract in meaning for me. I created it as an entry to a book crated by Lady Isabella F A Shores for a showcase book called Artistic Expression 2. Now back to the meaning, I believe that much like a man pursues a woman or a lover pursues the object of their affection, Humankind pursues God and the community of relationship that comes therewith. even though there is a kind of romance depicted in the picture this is not intended to depict a sexual connection, but a more deep spiritual oneness or a connection like a couple who could be said to read each others thoughts or complete one the others sentences.
